Spyker Specialty Millwork Cabinet Lines

Spyker Specialty Millwork produces two cabinetry lines:  commercial and institutional.  Based on the durability needs of each job each could be used in settings such as schools, hospitals, medical office buildings, banks, office buildings and the like.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR SPYKER SPECIALTY MILLWORK
CUSTOM CABINETS AND COUNTER TOPS

  • Cabinet cases (wall cabinets and base cabinets) to be constructed of 19mm (3/4") thick high-density industrial board with thermally fused melamine finish (Domtar-Panolan or equal).
  • Front exposed edges of cabinet cases to be covered with plastic laminate edge banding to match cabinet exterior, or PVC depending on color or pattern chosen.
  • All 24" or higher wall cabinets to have adjustable shelves made of 19mm white melamine (same as cabinet cases with matching edge banding on front edge). 24" cabinets have one shelf, 30" cabinets have two shelves.
  • All base cabinets (with exception of sink bases and drawer bases) to have one adjustable shelf.
  • Cabinet cases to be line bored to accept 5mm shelf pins for shelf adjustment (hole spacing on 32mm increments).
  • Cabinet doors and drawer fronts to be constructed of 19mm industrial board with laminate on both sides. Semi-exposed side (side facing toward interior of cabinet) to have white laminate to match cabinet interior. Exposed side (side facing toward exterior of cabinet) to have laminate to match cabinet exterior. Door/drawer front edges to be covered with plastic laminate edge banding matching cabinet exterior, or PVC depending on color or pattern chosen.
  • Cabinet doors to be mounted on Grass fully concealed 125-degree "clip" hinges with 6-way adjustment and lifetime warranty.
  • Drawers to be constructed using Grass "Zargen" drawer system. Drawer sides to be epoxy coated steel with integral 3/4 extension drawer slides with whisper glide rollers and 100-lb. capacity. Drawer bottom and back to be 19mm (3/4") white melamine.
  • Base cabinets supported by adjustable leveler feet with "snap on" toe kick cover.
  • Toe kick cover constructed of 19mm industrial board, to be covered with vinyl cove base (provided and installed by others).
  • All doors and drawers to have 4" solid brass commercial duty wire pulls in your choice of finish (bright chrome, brushed chrome, bright brass, or brushed brass).
  • Counter tops constructed of 3/4" industrial board core with built up front edge and general-purpose laminate on top and front edge. (Waterproof industrial board at sink locations).
  • All tops to have 4" high back splash and end splashes where counter top contacts wall. Back and end splashes attached to tops with "smart clips" (field installed).
